Entrance door shutting

The entrance door on our 2004 Troll does not close firmly. It appears that the striker plate attached to the door frame needs to be moved/adjusted inwards but I cannot see any obvious way of doing this......can anyone help?

Me too!

I've looked at ours and can't find how it is fixed and if indeed it is adjustable. Just a smidgin (technical term) further inward and the door would seal as tight as a duck's nether regions.

Looks like no adjustment on the strike plate. On mine the door presses against the rubber seal when shut which holds it firm. The catch housing itself looks like it may be in 2 pieces. Maybe the depth of that can be changed if disassembled.

The strike plate on mine definaltly looks like it could do with being moved inwards to enable the door to close snugly.....can’t see any way of adjusting the lock on the door so it would need to be the stricker

If there is no adjustment, could the catch housing have been replaced with one with the wrong depth?

There is no catch housing.......the catch is a shaped piece of metal, probably aluminium attached th the frame in some way.

Got around to looking into this today. I removed the fly screen frame (3 screws) and discovered that the striker is held in place by 3 screws. On removing the striker, I found that the aluminium frame to the door supporting the rubber seal was bent and distorted. See photo. I carefully bent the aluminium back into shape and reinstated everything. The door now shuts snugly as it should.
