Hi, due to advancing age I am considering buying a Kampa pop up air awning for our 2012 Familia 320. This van has an awning rail height I believe of 1.77m ?
( I only know this thanks to an earlier post from Randa France.)

Which size awning fits this van ?

Thanks

Ooh er ! Did I say that? There are two different heights dependant on whether your van is pre or post 2009/2010. The older vans have a greater curved roof profile and therefore the awning rail/door height is lower,

Anyway James, in your case according to the Kampa Website, their awning is adjustable to fit both heights. I can't find a length measurement for the awnings however but they do 4 sizes and by a process of elimination, the Puck L and the Pan Familia should be the second length offered, ie, the Pro 290.

If I were you I would ask the question of the awning supplier just to be on the safe side.

No problem.

Your question got me to do a bit of searching James and I've come up with this thread. Familia awning rail heights and, in particular, my link :- Eriba touring awning rail heights

However, Hob's measurements were brought into question by Colin Motters and, as far as I can see, it was never resolved. We must sort this out at the Meet taking place in the next few days.

I have just read some reviews that there are issues with the fit of Kampa 290 on the later Familia models .They seem to be more suited to and fit better on the earlier models ?

We had a Kampa pop air 290, it fitted our 2006 familier 320 GT well.
