On doing our usual checks, we’ve discovered the brake strip light above the window, is not working. I’ve searched the forum, but can’t find anything.

Has this happened to anyone else ?

Have you tried it with the engine running, modern vehicles don't always pump out enough ampage to make the lights work correctly when the engine is off.


I had this exact problem with my Dacia Duster, when the engine was off the top brake light didn't work, with the engine running they worked fine..

We will double check tomorrow, but I’m sure engine was running.
