Hello I have a porch awning for sale. We have a 2004 420 Triton which we bought from Automotive Leisure last November. To cut a long story short it came with a brand new porch awning worth £500. We saw the display model and decided it was too small for us. Therefore it remains in the box it came in, unopened. We are asking £250, if anyone is interested. We now live in France but the awning is with my daughter in UK. Please contact me by Private message if interested.

No idea but possibly yes. A quick phone call to Automotive Leisure would tell you. I’m still in the first year of caravan ownership, so probably not as up to speed on the different Eriba models as more seasoned Caravaners might be. I wouldn’t want to give you wrong information.

where are you? We live in the côtes d'Armor , Brittany.

We are on the western edge of the Dordogne near Coutras. The awning though is in Poole Dorset. I am going back to the UK mid September and so could collect it if you are interested and then arrange to meet as we'll be returning from Dieppe.

How did you get on registering your Eriba in France? We are just starting the process.

Would you know if they gave you the flexible height version that would fit a post 2010 van (ours is a 2018 Triton 420). If yes, we’d be interested. Hope the end ofthe French summer is better than the Uk one...

Good question and something that I'd not thought about. Was there such a beast as a flexible height version? It would have been made in 2017 and logically you would have thought that Eriba would have kept production costs down by making a single version to fit all the relevant vans. Unfortunately I can't look at it as it's in the UK. I seem to remember that the box didn't have much in the way of information on it and I haven't broken the seal to open it and have a look.. apologies for not being more helpful. It's still for sale anyway.
Summer has been great here, though probably too hot and still going. Let me know if you decide to take a chance on the awning. Given that it's brand new, it's a bargain.
