I have never found anything interesting in it, generally give it a cursory flick through and then it's straight in the recycling.

Actually, that's not quite true - I've bought seven pairs of crease-resistant elasticated waistband casual chinos (in taupe) and a three year supply of glucosamine capsules (with a hefty bulk discount) from traders who advertise in it.
