Bugger, just about to go off on our 3 month Autumn trip tomorrow, when, eating a pre dinner snack of fried squash seeds, broke a tooth, hope I can get it fixed tomorrow at the local health centre [open Sunday]. Luckily no pain but very sharp.

Here's hoping Dave. Failing that make sure you have your EHIC with you. Treatment I had earlier this year was very good, quicker than seeing the doctor in the UK and the prescription was cheaper.
Make sure you don't let that bear in any pools, he'll get very wet fur and it won't look good

Hope you get your tooth sorted, where are you off to this time, we are off to Devon for a week next Thursday, wish we could get away for longer like you,have a lovely time.

We are heading through France, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, then on to Croatia and Italy, at least that's the starting plan
but all things are flexible.[except my back and knees].

Hope you've been sorted.

I managed to break bits off two adjacent teeth about 10 days ago. I got an emergency appointment at my dentist the next day but he took one look at it and said it needed a 30 minute slot, not the 10 minute emergency space. We were going away the next day for 5 nights and with an intervening weekend the earliest I could get back is tomorrow. No pain but jagged edges and a big hole. Had to be v careful all week as it feels quite delicate and I'd hate to break more off.

Luckily in Swindon we have an emergency dentist open for "walk in's" on Sundays, he did a quick rebuild [£22.50] but said to see my dentist when I get back. Eriba Ted just smirked and said nothing, in France near Soissons now but a veerry slow connection.
