Swift Group distribute Airstream vans in the UK Roger. They're had an exclusive deal for about two years now. Only the larger Swift dealerships offer Airstreams though. I think it may be that empty shells are shipped to Cottingham from the States and Swift fit them out.

For the past two years I have rented a 32' RV in Alaska. The first was a bunkhouse Minnie Winnie which was top quality. This year we were given a Thor bunkhouse. Within 30 mins I returned it to the rental company and demanded a replacement. The quality was total rubbish, draws slid open, fittings moved when touched and this was brand new! The rental company admitted that their new fleet were to be Thor but had started to regret their choice. I have read since many customers complaining about the quality of the materials used and the build.

This could be the end of an era...

oh good! Can we Eriba owners now look forward to a Trump special edition for our beloved vans - a ginger theme to build on the red of the Rockabilly or blue of the Ocean Drive specials? MikeT

I can see the 'Union and 'Confederate' Eriba Tourings on the horizon.

8ft wide, twin axle, built-in hot tub, one in grey and the other in navy, both with a framed picture of Big John Wayne on the toilet wall.

It's astonishing the amount of companies that are being "swallowed" by US companies over here. Still, it keeps me in work. Sigh.
