North American owners?

I know that we have one or two contributors to the forum who are based in North America. It's a long complicated story which I won't bore you with but I'm seriously considering exporting an Eriba to the US. Obviously, it will have to be modified to work in a US context - mainly from an electrical and gas perspective. Can anyone with a van in the US give me any insight on what may have been done to their van in that way please? I'm thinking particularly of conversion from a 240v system to 110v (which has particular relevance to the fridge, of course), whether the standard European 'Commando'plug is used for EHU and gas bottle sizes and whether they fit in the front locker..

Oh, and wiring for running lights, indicators etc and adjustments needed to the van to tow vehicle plug and socket...

Any insight on these or any other aspect that might be useful would be very welcome...

many thanks in advance...

Cabbie, it may be worth actually sending this as a pm to any of the US Eribafolk as that way they would get a notification of it rather than hoping they will log on to the forum and see your thread.

Also Hugh, don't know if you're on facebook but a couple of years ago we helped a few US Eribafolk members to set up their own Facebook page "Eriba Pucks in the USA" by allowing them to promote themselves in our group. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1509591689291126/

They are a great bunch of guys and gals and I'm sure they will help you with your questions.

Hey Roger, have you thought about making the Eribafolk FB page a closed group?

NO you won't. You're not getting away with it that easy. I'm holding it while you hit them for a change.
