Where can you buy Herzim plastic strip 1mm thick as I have only seen at caravan stores 2mm plus thickness.

There is a lot of info. on herzim plastic strip on here Alan. Just add the name to the Search facility. This is just one thread:- Replacing the waist rail moulding (Herzim strip)

Your question about the thickness stumps me a bit though. Are you saying that 2mm is standard but you need 1mm or 1mm standard but you can't find it? Never having replaced it I don't know the answer.

Thank you info Randa The samples i have taken off eriba are 1 mm thick & 11 mm wide when flat .

Call Jandi. Tell them model and age of van and they will sort you out with correct replacement.

110 NAVY BLUE - 12mm PVC herzim strip . Fitted our 2002 310 perfect. The devils own work fitting it: choose a really hot day otherwise the strip is as hard as the hobs of hell.

Campsnooze used the 12.5mm version on their Future and let me have their left overs for my Troll. I haven't got round to fitting it yet but looks like it will be a perfect fit...

I have just replaced most of the plastic inserts lockers coloured waist strip grab handles waist rail ends etc from Jandi, the lady called Jean was most helpful it only cost £55.36p and made the caravan almost as good as new very please with it , ( Made tool to make fitting plastic easy fit bottom in drag top in piece of cake don't forget to put plastic in hot water done it last week in the cold keeps your hands warm to )

The infill strip fitted at the factory (the strip that Jandi supply) isn't Herzim. Not only is it the original stuff, it's cheaper than Herzim - less than half the price, in some cases - and fits really easily without the need for tools.

Herzim is the brand name of a similar product, but it isn't the same thing.
