It takes a fair bit to surprise me at my age (get annoyed and grumpy - yes)

However I can't believe that on trying to PM (knew it would be foolish to put on the open Forum !) a member of Eriba Forum, who innocently asked what the 'other Eriba Forum is, the word "ERIBAFOLK" was asterisked out (as would be a swear-word)

The question by the OP was in relation to a comment that the site appeared to have gone 'quiet' , I wonder why

I infiltrate the other side quite often I have since the day I was first banned (having been down that route before I know how it works)

I can't believe the answer in open forum by the gent who is a scot (never could speak jockanese)

I don't mince my words so for me they can dissapear up there own

As Roger said when he first established this forum, it never was his intention to cause harm or embarrassment to The Eriba Forum. All he was seeking was an alternative place where like-minded people could talk about all things Eriba while at the same time being permitted occasionally to stray off-topic and to indulge their penchant for quirky humour. I think most people will agree that between us we have achieved those aims.

So please can we all now accept that the people who run The Eriba Forum and we here at Eriba**** simply do things differently and leave it at that?

Raking over old disputes will achieve nothing other than to antagonise people unnecessarily and lead to more unpleasantness. Let's move on.

Well that's not entirely accurate now is it? I read your post on the open forum pages so not exactly a PM as you state. And yes, I also noted that a series of x's had replaced the name you were attempting to post and I guess that would have been that had you not come back and then tried to post the name once again only backwards this time. This suggests to me that you were attempting to be deliberately provocative and I can't help but wonder why that is.

I think that most of us have had enough of all the mud slinging and accusations flying backwards and forwards and are thankful that things have finally quietened down so the last thing we need is someone stirring things up once more. Do I take exception to your post? You bet I do for the reason I've just given along with the fact that you attempt to be provocative on one forum and then on another forum are somewhat economical with the truth.
