Each to his own of course, but I just don't get it

I've just read in our local Council's propaganda sheet (Christchurch, Dorset) that all 14 new beach huts at Mudeford sold within two hours of going on the market for £24,000 each - and that's cheap by local standards.

OK, they have direct access to the beach but they are still a 6 x 6 garden shed with no facilities and a prohibition on overnight residence, located against a sea front promenade that is thronged by rubbernecking tourists throughout the summer months.

Anyway, if you think £24K is expensive, have a look at this one across the harbour on Mudeford spit silly money

This got me thinking what sort of new Eriba you could buy for the same money? Suddenly, new Eribas seem like very good value indeed

Blimey! ! !
Im moaning about spending 220 pounds for a 8x6 shed for our back garden.
That puts a little prospective to it now.

But it hasn't got the sea, howling gales, screaming children, ice creams, sh- - -ting sea gulls all on your door-step, and sand in your Tesco wine

I know where I'd rather spend my Euros, sorry Pounds
