Insurance gone up again

It's that time of year again so I have started shopping around for insurance in anticipation of the yearly rise. Some eye watering prices from competitors and then my Lifesure renewal quote came through. As usual it has gone up, by £2.50, so no moans.

As my car came with 3 years breakdown cover from the manufacturer I had to source separate breakdown for the Puck. It was proving very difficult till I rang Lifesure.
£15 for the year sounded like a mistake but all the paperwork came through the post and the van was covered. Also £15 for the renewal last year, very happy.

I used that extra cover when the car was under manufactures 3yr warranty and as such caravan was only covered if attached to the car.
Know the car is older I have the Caravan & Motorhome mayday/Greenflag cover. I think I will continue with this when I get the new car as the Lifesure one although excellent value is limited to 30 miles transport to a suitable repair point.

ps - I think the policy is only £10 if you insure the van with them

It was indeed limited mileage Colin so worth bearing in mind.
My main concern was getting stuck on a motorway and ridiculous charges to get taken off. Being a hands on bloke and the fact the Puck was about as simple as you can get to work on I was happy with that although I realise that doesn’t apply to everyone.

"£15 for the year"

I just tried Lifesure and the quick quote came up as £97 :(

No the price is correct for a limited call out breakdown and recovery policy on the van. The confusing bit is I thought it was £10 and you had to have your caravan insured with them.
Just for interest, my policy with them for 2019-20 on my 2017 Triton 430 is £267.83.
£25K van & equipment new for old, £500 contents, £100 excess, 180 days European cover, legal protection etc

Colin, I also thought you had to have your caravan insured with them but I rang them up, explained my situation and they were happy to take my £15 for a stand alone policy??
I wasn’t going to argue!
