Saved my water bill and the hassles of getting the sprinkler going again.
I treated the lawn with 2 boxes of Evergreen do it all stuff on Monday knowing the weather was set fair for a good part of the week and intending to spray it if necessary.
Moss, weeds, poor grass and everything else is supposed to be solved with that stuff. It got one day of sprinkle on Wed and then another dose Thursday and then hoped for rain. Problem was Carole wanting to garden so I forbade her and let the spray do the job and of course she couldn't walk on the soil unless she used a plank.
She managed and the rain did the job. I just want to make sure the moss is dead before I borrow my mate's scarifier 'cos if the moss ain't dead it will only spread the spores around and worsen the situation.
Any gardeners out there know what dead moss looks like? And don't just say when it's black.
