Hi, i have just bought the seals direct weather strip to use on our 2004 Triton 420 gt with kampa air pro 340 2020 edition. It took two minutes to push on, and i am going to leave it on while the van is down the drive, remove before journey and put back once pitched... No need for mallets or anything it just sits on very neatly. Left mine as a 4 metre length and took it past the front and rear gutter drain holes.I was also thinking that when i pitch up i have the awning side ever so slightly raised.

Only slightly, as you'll find the blood runs to your head when you sleep, depending upon which way around you sleep..

Don't do like I did, put the awning up and then realised I forgot to attach the weather strip...

But if you have the one that is NOT awkward to put on, then it's not too much trouble to do it with a pair of steps !

Dead easy, if your arms are 1.2m long.

We stuck with the one we got from Kampa as once you get the knack of putting it on it is a doddle.

We put it on first time in the season we are using the Pop Air and tend to leave it on all season as it is a very firm fit. We then take it off before we put the winter cover on

We also stuck with the Kampa strip.Just angle the strip towards you then click it on the rail as you push the top edge away from you.We do remove ours for travelling.
