Heard of Moroccan Carpet being used as a groundsheet, does anyone have it and is it better/ worse than a conventional breathable groundsheet?

Lovely underfoot but very bulky and holds huge amounts of water if it gets wet.
Used to use it with a motorhome where we carried it rolled on the rear mounted bike rack. Now it’s relegated to garden use only.

On the subject of, anybody out there needing to buy or replace said item soon should look at the Kampa Continental. It is lightweight and very easy to wash. I think the best I have come across.

Colin, is the Kampa Continental the foldable one?

It is folded and comes in a clear fronted zip bag. It is a woven mix of three? greys, super to walk on, very lightweight and a doddle to keep clean unlike the other breathable sheets we have had.

Sounds good. Does it refold easily?
The Isabella matting is lovely but a sod to pack away especially if it’s cold.

Folds easily and fits back in the bag provided. I had the Isabella Bolon with my Fortex which you really had to man handle. It was a sod to fold and very heavy. The Kampa is the direct opposite in these respects.

That’s great Colin. It’s the Bolon I’m going to replace for exactly the same reason.

Sounds similar to the one we already have !!! folds into a a fairly compact bag cleans off with a pressure washer very quick.! Did like the Vango groundsheet the Collisses have very smart !
