Hi all, just managed to aquire an Eriba Puck from 1978 after a good 6 months looking. One came up on Ebay that was only 6 miles from me. Went to view in the morning and collected it that night I needed one that qualified for retro meets that I go on. I was at Newark Retrofestival last weekend in my Portafold (1971) with the ARCCS club that I am a member of. Had a great time apart from the weather on Friday and Saturday but there were undercover things to do. The main problem with my Puck is that someone has fitted a replacement roof canvas and it is not fitted properly to the lift up roof. It is trapped at the ends but not at the sides. I am hoping to find a thread that will tell me how to fix this as on a quick look I can't figure out how to get it back in the gap. It is under a carport so I could easily hold the roof down slightly from above to put some slack in the canvas to work on it. I am also looking to fit a fridge into it if I can find one to fit in the cupboard under the sink. My neighbour is a gas certified caravan service engineer so would help me with the fitting.

Thanks

Trev

how about some pics of the van Trev?

Sorry I can't help with the pop-top but a search of this site will uncover some useful info.

PS You may find that a "table-top" fridge would be OK - but likely to be 240V only.

Not had much chance to take pics yet with this weather. This is the one I took just after I fetched it. Not stopped raining since I fetched it. I have an electrolux 3 way box fridge which is excellent but the puck is just too small to put it anywhere. I need a gas one as it must be 4 or 5 years since i went on a site with hook up.

That's an interesting looking van Trev. Ours is a '94 320GT and we are very happy with it. Not "really" retro like yours

Hi Trev. Using the search facility take a look at my thread "How to remove a pop top canvas" Sorry, can't link it for you as we're not in UK.
You should be able to get some ideas for the problem you have from there.

It's not the easiest job removing (or replacing) the canvas but if you follow the guide it can be done, we did it and if we can anyone can.
