Can anyone advise or put up a pic of where these straps are attached? Being grossly DIY challenged it does not look entirely obvious to me.

This may help (a bit). One of our lockers had this fitted which restricts the locker flap opening to approximately a horizontal position. Why there is only one fitted I can't say as our 420 Triton was 2nd hand from AL. The other end (not shown here) is just screwed to the rear face of the locker flap.

Keith, Thank you but we are not talking about the same straps. However it is good to know that there is an alternative solution to this. I have not had a problem but would be eager to prevent it.
