We cleaned the white part of the mid rail today and wondered if anyone has come up with a way to stop it getting so discoloured and dirty?

Hi Dave,

Just wondered what you used to clean the mid rail on your Troll. I used Methylated spirit on ours that worked quite well but was tacky and became discoloured fairly quick after.

We used meths but not the purple stuff we used the clear stuff from Screwfix, washed the area with Fairy liquid after. Also give it wipe over after rain as that is what seems to cause the problem washing dirt down onto it.

I tried this stuff on a small area yesterday but was busy on the roof all day so didn't go any further. It did seem to do some cleaning but not sure if it's too aggressive.
