We have a Vision on our 410. Bit of a fiddle to erect if you're not on dead flat ground. The front hoop that provides the frame has slide out feet to adjust for ground levels, but in order to the tension right the relationship between the hoop and the awning rail has to be correct. I think it once took 20 minutes to get right. You also need to be careful with height of the front hoop to make sure that the van door can open, but also as mentioned to make sure water can drain away. The centre roof strut needs an awning socket screwed into the rail but is an expensive addition to a costly item.

Hi guys, I have an omnistor 4900 fitted to my Eriba and am fed up with the prices of wind breaks/awnings fitted to this. So decided to make my own! A visit to Point North fabrics provided me with the material. My local seamstress made it up for me. Now see pic! [[File:0C8DE1A7-AED7-46EC-988E-EA4B00752214.jpeg|none|auto]] I can put this either end and gives a good wind break or put two either end which gives me a good awning space. I made the top hold from a piece of tubing cut in half and made some inserts to join together at half distance. Total cost: fabric £40 seamstress £25 eyelets £3 per end! D

We have the Sunncamp 260 and its brilliant. Weighs abt 5kgs total. Takes 15 minutes max to put up and 5 to take down. Its more than a sun canopy but less than a full porch. Works very well in strong winds.

Hi Dave, noticed your message about acquiring tent canvas. I too looked at this site but found the material too heavy. Point North supplied me with waterproof material which was much lighter and therefore not too much weight on the Omnistor or the tubing I made to hold it. Derek
