Scheiber BIP 36.12854.33 alternative replacement

Following an earlier thread, people will know that I have problems with my unit, charging my leisure battery in the Puck. However I have managed to sort out a workaround via a chargin unit, though the battery will not charge from the car. No problems really!
Despite all this, the Puck is a keeper and we wouldnt part with it.
So, I have been told that the Schieber Unit isnt that good and I have the time on my hands now to seek and install a alternative and more robust unit to the Puck.

All help considered in finding, initiall new unit to purchase.

Anyone any experience or advice?

As I said, Bob, it's only the battery charger side that fails so you can have the BIP modified and fit a separate, 3-stage charger wired into it.

That's what I'm doing at the moment. (Report to follow.)

I talked to Sandy and I will be able to source a charger from them to add and resolve the issue.
He's a good source of knowledge!
