I had to do a double take on your posting as at first I thought yoiu meant £2K but I'm guessing you are thinking post 2000.
If you are choosing that age because of aesthetic reasons fine, but I'd advise not to get to hung up on specific year as some newer vans may be cheaper and likewise older vans more expensive. It is down to specification and condition, so budget is really the deciding factor.
Some members may disagree, but on an older van I believe you are more likely to find an imported van. When I bought my first Eriba in 2003 it had taken me 18 months to find it, a Triton 430GT. UK sales were low on the ground then but have in recent years jumped and newer vans are most likely to be UK vans and not continental imports. The reason I bring this to your attention is not because of the quality of the van, but because of the standard specification and what might not be fitted. eg battery, alloy wheels, axle rating. On the later look for a 1200kg rating, identified by 5 studs per wheel instead of 4. If you planned to fit a mover or carry a reasonable amount of kit on a long holiday the 1200kg is the way to go.

As Colin says, many vans in the UK have been sourced abroad. This is not so problematic as you might think, so don't discount the possibility. After tracking the Eriba market for several months, I found my ideal van on the Dutch/German border and have never regretted the effort to go and get it. There is another world of Eribas in Holland, for example here's a selection of 430's available at the moment..

The other option would perhaps be to contact Dom Fox in Norfolk - https://www.domfox.co.uk/ - who I think sources and imports vans from Holland, so might be able to help..

Thanks for your post. Its a fixed bed model which is a bit unfortunate, we were really after a DD. layout, in light woodwork.
I did wonder if anyone/possibly Eriba do a conversion kit for the fixed bed conversion to Double end divan/twin table layout. I spoke to one of the dealers and he reckons that the popularity of fixed beds is really a continental preference to do with better summer weather and fewer grandchildren--Ha!
