aqua roll in winter!

I had a electric water heater fitted by Adventure leisure when bought my caravan off them a few months ago and hoped to caravan during the winter months. but due to circumstance i haven't been out in cold weather yet but still planning to. With the set up at the moment it now uses an aqua roll which has been very efficient and practical, the question is what do people do for frost protection on the aqua roll & and pipe between the two when its below freezing ?.
I was wondering if i was going to have to just fill a 10 litre water carton and just pour straight out of the carton or make a tea cosy for the aqua roll?

We no longer camp during the winter months but when we did we used to keep a half gallon container of water in the van with us in fact we still do this now in summer as we do not drink our tanked water and always keep our half gallon fresh. In our experience it needs to be really cold to freeze a full aquaroll kept out of the wind with a bit of a themal jacket around it .
