Has anyone had a problem with tarnished hinges?
I may change them all if I can find a match will cost a small fortune. The van is a 2015 Eriba Famila 320 GT.

Have you tried giving them a rub with some steel wool? Would be a lot cheaper than replacing them.

Last year I needed to replace two hinges off our upper locker doors and found the almost perfect replacements at my local Screwfix store.
Here's a link to my thread:- Butt hinges, interior upper lockers
Please note however that since then it looks like Scewfix have changed their supplier/part number but I've amended my old post to show which hinges I believe they were. The price has gone up by 50p as well.
Although the hinges on modern vans have a recess, that might be to compensate for the hinge thickness. On older vans Hymer used brass butt hinges with no recess and the hinge thickness was only 1.2mm.

Yes, had exactly the same problem on my 2018 Troll after it's first winter layover. I tried to find a stainless steel replacement but not a chance, even the original mild steel ones with cr*p plating are difficult to find as they are small than those found at most suppliers. In the end I gently cleaned them with a nylon scouring pad and wiped them over with white spirit which leaves a slightly oily residue. One year later and so far, so good!

Back in the day when I used to win trophies I found that toothpaste polished off the tarnish when the time came to return them.
