Attaching a new Vango Air Kela Low awning to a 1997 Puck L.

The awning requires a rail with a diameter of 8 mm but my Puck rail is too tight and I reckon could take a 6.5 to 7mm attachment.

Does anyone know of a product which will adapt one to the other. I have tried other means of threading the awning through using silicone lubricant and I have used fine grade wet and dry to make sure there are no snags in the rail tube itself. I have looked on the Vango and other websites website but can't see any obvious product

Do an internet search for Kador awning bead/chord and Figure of 8 awning kit. When you see the images you will understand how the two go together.

Here's an example - but this particular one will not convert 8mm to 6mm. I have not managed to find what you need, but the diagram will give you an idea.

I had the same problem Dave. I wonder if there's enough flex in a 6mm Figure of eight to accomodate the 8mm awning bead?

I'm surprised the 8mm awning bead doesn't fit directly for until I purchased an Isabella Shadow Sun Shade with 8mm bead, I thought the rail on my Eriba would only suit the 6mm bead that's on my Clairval awning.
