Just to give a bit more of an update, the National Trust has closed their Pay for entry parts of their service due to social distancing. In the case of Croft Castle, where I am a volunteer this means the Visitor Reception, Tearoom, Shop and Castle are now closed to the public. The Garden and Parkland will remain open to anyone who wants to use them for free.

The National Trust has made a statement (https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/press-r...avirus-covid-19) on it's website stating that this will be the case with all it's properties by Friday 20th March.

So on the bright side, you can still visit and walk some glorious parklands for free if your not under the self-isolation requirements.

Please be socially responsible
