Scratched windows

We bought Peggy in October and I have been using her as my office for the last four weeks during lockdown as she is parked on a hard standing at the bottom of the garden. Some of the windows have some light scratching which was probably caused by a winter cover or by someone cleaning the windows with dirty water in the past.

This morning - whilst on a dull conference call - I went and got some T-Cut and tried a small corner to see what happened. Long story but I ended up doing the two worst windows and they have come up amazingly well. Still some scratches if you look closely but a huge transformation.

Anyone else use T-Cut? What do I do to them now to help protect them??!

I have also used T-Cut on the windows. I have used it on grp roof as well, followed by a good car polish to bring back to life a dead/chalky finish.
You cannot really do anything to protect the windows, with the possible exception of a piece of soft cotton over them if stored under a winter cover.

Try Farecla. Before retirement I did a lot of spray painting and found it much better than T-cut. It comes in various grades i.e. machine use or hand use. Mr. Sheen is a good wax to finish and it does helps to stop the fly muck sticking.

While Faraday is very good for the vans body I would not use it on the windows . I think that it is a little to aggressive , after all it is made for polishing and cutting paint . In the past I have used Brasso and found it to work well .
