Connecting 12v outlet(s) to the (dreaded) BIP 409

Help!

I am soon to instal a solar panel and in the meantime I'm trying to work out how to plum into circuit 5 of the BIP CSV 409 for a couple of 12v plugs. On looking at the two existing wire connections to circuits 3 & 5 I am confused as to exactly which spade terminals I should use. If anyone that has achieved adding 12v outlets to the BIP I'd greatly appreciate direction as to precisely where I can connect. Here is the photo showing the existing connections which I think are for my external water pump and awning light. As you can see the wires appear to be incorrectly fitted (the wrong way round on the + - terminals?) albeit everything appears to be working - or it did until I delved.....very frustrating.

For the solar panel, see section 8.5 here

And as far as the 12V wiring is concerned, negative (earth) is brown on these things.

Ahh so the dreaded BIP is fundamentally different?

I think what I need is to see how others have connected and exactly where as theres very little guidance on the forums or elsewhere for what should be simple electrics. In the meantime I'll keep searching and banging my head

May be wrong but I think the BIP (dreaded or otherwise) is a different thing to the CSV 409A which is fitted to later models.

I plumbed in a pair of USB ports. I used circuit 3 as this is rated at 15A whereas circuit 5 is only 3 amps, and just attached to the spare connectors as shown in the photo. The new connection is the one with the thicker wires on the left most and right most connectors on circuit 3 (brown - negative, blue positive).

when I get round to it I will pull the fuze on each of these to determine exactly what is connected there. This can only be the lights, water heater control and toilet pump as everything else has its own circuits.

Thanks Steve,

I eventually worked it out - mine is also the CSV 409 which I mistakenly referred to as a BIP. I shall also be putting some 12v sockets in using circuit 3. On mine I discovered that circuit 5 is a switched circuit for the water pumps (external and internal submersibles) and circuit 3 is for my internal LED and awning light.
