Does anybody use these, eg:- Werbung: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fiamma-Wheel-...QQAAOSwp2xegoUV I store the van on axle stands over winter but I'm wondering about these instead as an altenative. I could actually use them all of the time the van is not used.

Yes , I use these and have done for the last three years . I have never felt any tyre distortion over this period neither do I rotate the wheels . I also keep the tyres covered . They seem to work well .

Thanks Tom. It would be easier to use these than put on the axle stands.

Yep, I use them all the time and have done so for a decade even though the Eriba is stored out of doors. I also use wheel covers.

I've ordered some. Found them at £14.29. Two lots left at this price. Werbung: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fiamma-Wheel-...872.m2749.l2649

If you could fix a couple of strips of old carpet under them, you might be able to drive or reverse onto them without having to jack the van up.

Roger,
if they slide around I could screw them down to the garage floor. This would also mean the van goes into the same position every time.

It's not the fact that they slide around Colin but if you get the weight of the Eriba onto the mats/hardboard whatever, before they come against the ramps, then it'll ensure that the ramps don't move a little when they are "pinched" by the leading point of the tyres.

I use them as well, some come with a little lip or a ladder attachment that clips to the front which stops your van chasing them around the drive..😊 All you do is use your motor mover to drive on them. I have left mine on during the lockdown.

Mike Booth (facebook) has come up with the perfect solution for wheel savers.

He takes them off and then suspends his Puck L in levitation for the winter.

Mr Booth must be a very slim chap if he can get down the sides of that van once it's in the garage.
