Any one had a LA95 Varta Professional Dual Purpose AGM battery, just curious as to what sort of life span people have had. I’m presuming it was the original equipment on my 320 which is a 2015 model. I always tend to switch mains around one night a month while I’m not using and I took a voltage reading at the weekend ( it hadn’t been on charge so no surface voltage) & was getting 12.88 volts which surprised me to be so good/ high

12.8V after a month sounds pretty good to me. You've got a good battery there.

Ah the black art of batteries. Google is your friend:-
"This is called the “open-cell” or “resting” voltage of the battery. Resting fully charged 12-volt batteries are around 12.8-12.9 volts, and flat dead ones are at 12.0 volts, so 12.4 volts on a resting battery means it's about 50% charged."

Yeah it does seem exceptional. On a starter battery obviously different, I've generally regarded 12.6/12.7 volts to be full charge, 12.4 as half and 12.2 and below as flat. Mine at 12.8 seems very high (tested with a Fluke multi meter) obviously its a leisure battery which you could class for arguments sake as traction or semi traction battery, a bit like a milk float battery. I was just curious as to how long any one else has had out of there battery. obviously its a quality name and as I've said i switched the mains on around once a month usually overnight. i only bought the caravan around last august/September and presume its the original and was hoping it would last this season out if we get a chance to use it!
