The narrow srip that goes round the door on my Puck L has come away from the channel in one place. Any ideas on what type of glue to use to fix it back in?

I've just had a look at mine and assume that you mean the hairy strip that seals the door into the frame? I'd try Evo-Stick as it's good for most similar applications and easy to get off it doesn't work.

Be sure to allow time for the glue to go 'off' before bringing the two surfaces together.

Mr Caulder:- assume that you mean the hairy strip

We assume you mean "wool pile" (or even better if you want to replace it, "fin seal") dear boy...

It's still a hairy strip, whatever you want to call it.

I think you'll find that it's "Domestic"

Mine says "Electrolux" not "Dometic".

No, it's not a hairy strip! It is a narrow plastic type strip that goes round the outside of the door on the main body of the van. But evostick might do it anyway!

That's not supposed to be glued in, it covers the screws. Having said that when mine came off on the way to a meet a few years back I have to confess I glued it back in (gulp). Following conversations with Randa in France about grubby waist rails I have just been all round the van and cleaned all mine. I did discover some strip missing at the front of the van which will need replacing before I face everyone at the Gloucester meet.

Now he tells us!

There must be someone on here who has replaced the plastic on theirs who can advise.

All I know is it's available by the metre, I guess it's a fairly easy fix, but personally no glue for me
