Bike rack A frame mounted

It always seems to be a problem mounting two bikes on aframe. I would normally top & tail ( one each way) but depending if one has drop handle bars and the other one has a rear mounted rack the clearances are tight, keeping pedals/cranks apart and off front of the caravan can be a problem. Does anyone have any pictures?

When I bought my 320 last August/September off the eriba dealer (adventure leisure) they mounted a Thule caravan smart rack. My bike has flat handle bars & my other half is small & her road bike has drop bars. We both have rear racks on bikes. With my other half’s drop handle bars on a small bike they tend to get in the way of my rear rack. + your trying to keep peddles/ cranks apart & my flat bars off the front of the caravan. Just wondered does anyone have any pics of the pride & joy mounted on the front of their caravan

Hello
We have a couple of pictures in the Picture Gallery (click on icon above) and go to the pictures of Hymer Eriba Future. We have tried various ways to put the bikes on. We also use lengths of pipe insulation foam to stop the bikes rubbing against each other and the van.

Our Triton came with a towball fitted on the A frame. We use a Thule Xpress rack which I modified to allow a bike to be fitted either side of the rack (just drilled an extra hole in the arms). I usually remove the pedals from the inner bike and swivel the handlebars round which just makes it easier to get them on and remove the risk of any contact. Don't need any further padding.

I notice on the pics i've just seen the bikes are both the same way round, my other halfs bike is a lot smaller than mine + she's on drop handle bars & i'm not. i'm going to have to persevere and see if i can stagger the wheel support bits
