Does anyone use any device to boost wi-fi when there away in the caravan is question one, question two has anyone then been able to use something like an Amazon firestick ? I watch very little TV but if your away for a few days and the weather is windy & lashing down with rain it could be handy

I should add i wouldn't want to end up with a device using an extra sim card, i would use it enough to justify it

We use a booster and are very impressed, although at £150+ it is not cheap. I think it is a Motorhome Pro. Last year in France we were picking up on the free municipal site 300+ metres away.
For TV we use an Avtex with built in satelite tuner. Abroad this is used with a Snipe dish whilst at home it is paired with the Avtex suction mounted aerial.

I just use my phone as a wifi hub. I'm sure I have connected my Amazon Firestick to it, in the UK I tether my iPad and watch whatever Virgin has to offer. I have unlimited data which helps and I've used it as far away as Hong Kong, New Zealand & Alaska. The only problem is I don't get a signal in my own house..!

I tether my tablet to my phone. I haven't got unlimited so it would be expensive to use for streaming in my case.

I've noticed that some of Three's deals include "go binge" which allows access to specified streaming apps with unlimited use.

I have Three unlimited data on my iPhone and tether it to a NOW TV stick plugged into the back of an Avtex tv. It generally works really well but occasionally I've had to resort to using the Avtex aerial on a sucker mount and watching live tv or previously downloaded stuff on my iPad. I camp in winter so do end up watching tv in the evenings if it's dark and cold outside.

I think i might have to take my sat dish ( didn’t really want to) I plugged my home sat dish directly into my avtex tv which is supposed to have the tuner built in. It did work but when you put the guide on the screen it didn’t give details on most of them till you selected each one & left it on for a minute or so & then the data popped up & then do the next channel 😱
