We’re collecting our new 420 next week. Been reading about mould growing on the canvas. Ours will be kept in outdoor storage when not in use. Just wondering if there is a product you can apply to inhibit mould growth. Thanks

I've never heard of anydody taking this route. If you pack away dry then you should not have a problem. We have always thoroughly cleaned our awnings down towards the end of a stay and madesure they are dry. This sometimes means taking it down a day or so eaarly. Only once in over 20 years have we had to dry an awning at home.
I'm also particularly sad and wash and straighten all of my pegs before they go in the bag. Seperate ladder straps also get cleaned and checked as they become brittle with age and crack.

Do you mean the Poptop canvas? the fabric is synthetic canvas called Sunbrella, I don't add any products to the canvas other than preventative care. When closing the lid keep the door open as this will ensure that the canvas collapses inside the van, if it gets trapped on the outside it can become damp and encourage mould. Make sure that when a holiday has finished you clean the van including under the Poptop on the lower roof to avoid contamination. Air out the canvas by leaving the Poptop up for a few hours especially if on the the last day it got wet.
The link below has some tips how to look after the canvas

When I go on holiday I like to pop my top!
