Cold water supply pipe

This is the cold water pipe feeding my tap. I want to replace it with the same stuff if possible.

It is quite stiff and I think that is good as it holds the submersible pump against the bottom of the water container.

Can anyone identify this stiff pipe please..

Steve

Go to any good caravan accessory shop, it comes by the metre.

Looks like Whale MDPE hose or equivalent manufacturer, e.g., Fawo. Available in 10mm and 12mm - 3/8" and 1/2" in old money.
The fitted Reich tap connectors accept 12mm.

And these Ratchet Pipe Clips are more suitable for the underwater pump connection than jubilee clips which eventually go rusty.

Thanks JohnE, that looks like the stuff. They call it semi rigid I nearly made a mistake there as I thought all submersible pumps had 10mm connectors. Probably why I couldn't find it. Thanks for the clip tip, mine is just push fit on the Reich pump but I'm replacing that as well.

Oh I think I'm confused again - is the size the external diameter ?

But worthwhile checking the pump connection diameter.

Remember - cut twice, measure once

The semi-rigid stuff is 12mm o/d designed for JG and Whale push-fit connectors but will fit nicely over Reich barbed connectors if the end of the pipe is softened in hot water.

Retailers tend not to know the difference between pipe and tube - pipe is specced internal diameter, tube, external diameter.
