Hi Everyone

I�m on the lookout for a Wigo Vision Sun Canopy for a Troll. If anyone should have one for sale or know of one somewhere, I would be interested.

I have lusted after one of these since first seeing one, and a couple ofl times been on the point of buying one second hand. So far though I have not succumbed as owners report pooling on the roof that is difficult to avoid [including the owner of this German van I spoke to a couple of years ago]. The optional roof bar may go some way towrards solving this but then you would need to fit brackets to your awning rail, somethingthat the more commonly used Isabella Shadow does not require.
For those not in the know this is what they look like. Absolutely lovely:-

I can't say that I've noticed any problems with ponding on ours but I suppose it depends on how it is pitched and tensioned plus the severity of the downpour.

It looks like from your photo that you have the optional 3 pole roof kit. Do you think that the lack of pooling could also be attributed to this aswell as your superior pitching and tensioning skills?

Hi Colin.
We have the Wigo full awning and it is so well made and attractive. I saw one of these and like you, I was hooked. Just missed one yesterday on EBay. Said it was for a Triton, but I asked them to measure the awning strip. It was 3.4m which is the exact distance between our awning connectors. By the time I got the answer, it had gone. Don�t even know if Wigo are still in production. I shall keep looking. Take care and stay safe

Sue, the Vision is still available from https://www.caravancanopyshop.co.uk/coll...-caravan-canopy, but I seem to recall supplies are limited.
I enquired about the one for sale on e-bay as well. The photos showed it had a roof pole kit, but this was not the genuine Wigo judging by the shape of the central roof rafter. The side panels were from something else and not original. They were also unsure of the size as you know. It looked to tall for a pre 2010 van and I'm guessing it was for the later taller vans. The guy ropes also looked different to those on the Caravan Canopy Shop website.
You may have missed a good example, but I think it is more likely you could have bought something and later regretted it.

Hi Colin.
Thank you for that. The one on eBay did look unusual. As you say, the sides were not genuine. Everything just looked too big.
I did have a look at the Caravan Canopy website. They seem to have all models available, other than for the Troll. I may give them a ring tomorrow...just in case.
I shall keep looking.

No Troll canopies does ring a bell. I recall them posting something about the Vision being discontinued but some stock still available to clear.

Hi Colin

No Troll canopies left . They have Triton ones, but that would come across the window, as does the sun canopy we already have, so no improvement really. May as well carry on with the one we have.
We live in hope.
