Cleaning roof vent

I haven’t tried yet but looking up out of my bed at the vent in the roof I can see what looks like the odd dead insect or two, does it just pull off on the inside to clean?

Get you tall step ladders out and you should high enough up to apply some pressure on the sides so the lugs squeeze in and the cover comes off.
Give it a scrub with 1 part bleach and 4 parts water and then leave in the fluid for 24 hrs. You might need to repeat the process. This also works a treat on the white exterior grab handles.
