Blind/fly screen attachment.

Just taken my 2005 Triton 430 back to the storage site to find that the blind unit over the sink/hob area was at a jaunty angle and in the throes of becoming detached! Replacement end cap brackets have been ordered (Screw attachment eyes had snapped open). Whilst three of the retaining screws appear to bite into something solid (bottom left and right and top right) the top left retaining screw just appears to have screwed into the wall boarding (argh).
The hole in the boarding is enlarged and there is nothing strong enough to screw into. Has anyone out there had this problem and found a solution to hold the blind in place? Help would be much appreciated. Thanks in anticipation.

I would be tempted to fill the hole full of lquid nails and push a plastic rawl plug in. Leave it for at least 48hrs for the glue to go off as it will be doing a gap filling job.
Other alternative is to use a gap filling/expanding polyurethane glue to fix the rawl plug. This would probably be more effective but also more likely to be messy.

Thanks Colin for your good ideas. I will investigate these further. I am wondering now if I could take the same approach with isopon filler.
