Squeaky internal door hinges

Just back from a few days away in our Triton.

The bathroom door hinges were squeaking something terrible - like scratching glass or strangling a cat. Anyone got any hot tips for the best solution?

Thanks

Put a drop of oil on the to of the hinge pin of each hinge. Hold a tissue underneath the hinge, oling each in turn, opening/closing the door as you work your way from top to bottom.
When you've finised apply a drop more oil to the tissue and wipe each hinge lightly. This will inhibit any light rust from forming.

WD-40 silicone spray for the win!

Check to see if it's the door edge rubbing against the frame (our wardrobe door does this) Silicon polish is a short term solution or the edge of the door might need a very gentle sanding.

Thanks both. Didn’t know WD40 silicone spray existed! Wasn’t keen to use the normal WD40 so will get some of that and give it a go.
