Does 50cm make enough of a difference

Question for anyone who has upgraded from a triton to a troll, we are thinking maybe we should have a bigger caravan but when I compared dimensions the troll is only half a meter bigger than our triton, not sure if it's worth shelling out some money for just that small difference in size, has anyone taken this upgrade route and was it worth the cash?

We went from a Triton 420 to a Troll 535 fixed bed last year. Believe it or not we found a sense of much more space and don't regret it for a minute.

Back in 2007 we went from a 430 to wide bodied 552. All Trolls are now that 100mm and that combined with the extra length is very noticeable. If you can afford it and your car can tow it then it really is sensible idea. Best thing is to go to a dealers and move directly from a Triton to a Troll to get a true idea and put your mind at rest, one way or the other.

We changed from a Triton 420 to a Troll 530 after the Triton was written off in an accident. Our primary reason was for a side kitchen rather than an end one. We hadn’t really considered the extra space but now really value leaving the bed made up and still having a reasonable sitting/eating area. It’s your own personal liking or not but we wouldn’t swap back.

The extra width of the Trolls makes a big difference too. The dimension looks small, but it reality it makes a huge difference to the feeling of space.

We went from a 310 to a 530. It feels vast by comparison. One of the really nice things about having the extra 100mm of width is that now my toes don’t ping the blinds up in the middle of the night.

And you can also get past the other 1/2 without forcing them into the sink.

And there was me thinking being forced into the sink and up-flying blinds were some of the benefits of having an Eriba, lol, !!!
Did the troll grow at some point in its history, I.e. Did it get wider and taller?

The long forgotten 510, 530 and 540 were until 2010 2m wide. Whilst the 55 series 550, 552, 554 and 555 were 2.1m wide.
After 2010 all Trolls have been 2.1m wide.
