Electric Hook Up socket -Old Pan

Hi there Im new to all this and am currently doing up my old eriba pan over winter. Think its around 1984 model with the brown /cream colour scheme.
A couple of questions if anyone can help. I need a new hook up socket (brown colour) with lid. I know I've seen these for sale somewhere on the web but cannot remember where! Any suggestions folks?
Also any ideas what colour the curtains would have originally been in this van? The pop top is orange so I'm guessing originally orange curtains?

One more question - what kinds of herzim strip will I need to redo the trim - is it 12mm and is brown available anywhere???

I think you may be correct about the orange curtains though as other 1980s brochures do show them in that colour. Perhaps the brown curtains went with a brown poptop roof whic I think was also an option.

Others may be able to help with the socket and herzim?

Thanks for the welcome and the information. Mine is exactly the same model as shown in the German brochure - Eriba Touring Pan . Right down to the wood colour and seating material. The brochure confirms what I suspected - it’s very very original. So I’ll be trying to do a sympathetic restoration.

I hope you realise that a sympathetic restoration will mean that you will have to source a pair of the sexy short white tennis shorts that the guy is wearing whilst eating at the table in Randa's brochure. Boris Becker has nothing on these bad boys.................................

There are dozens of suitable (and not so suitable) EHU sockets on t'internet,

Here's a link to one example:

You can re-spray them as you like.

The website will translate into English and the owner (can't remember his name at the moment) is a great guy to talk to/Email. He has perfect English and will probably be able to help you out with all things Classic Eriba.

Thanks for all the welcomes folks. Ordered a white MBK socket which I will spray brown. It seems they stopped making them in brown a couple of years ago. Not bad considering the last brown Eriba is about 30 years old! Yes - what is it about German guys and micro shorts? 😄👍
