Sat at the pc today looking out into the garden and was thinking. About equipment in my van that is lying idle. So, out to the van to see what I could do about it.
Picked up solar panels, inverter and mains tester. Back into the garden and looking at potting shed, fed from a long extension lead !, deciding how to use this stuff. Before anyone says anything, my potting shed has a radio, coffee maker and optic in it ( 12 year old malt at the moment ). I have already fitted a caravan mains box and lid , modified, with no gubbins in to allow me to put the lead through. So, the only thing I haven't got is an Anderson plug...it is now ordered. When it arrives, I will get my old car battery and install it in the shed, then fit the inverter to it and test it before plugging in the radio first ( it's only a cheap one ! ) If as I hope it all works then I will have tested it prior to going away later in the year. Then when it is time to stop this year I can put it back in the potting shed for the winter.

All I can say is good job you haven't got a mover on the van otherwise the shed could be getting that as well.
