Hi, we're looking for an Eriba Troll, 2005 or younger, price up to £15k. We're not fussy on model, but would prefer twin dinette rather than a fixed bed. Most important - it mustn't have been smoked in (as non-smokers we really notice). Any extras like motor mover, awning, bike rack etc would be brilliant!

Our location is Lancashire, but we don't mind travelling a couple of hours.

Yes our search started with him as he's not far from us. We looked at a Triton, which is what made us realise we needed the extra room - and onboard toilet - of a Troll! Lovely chap, he's going to let us know if anything comes his way.

I know what you mean about smoking, I had a package arrive today from a Honda lawn mower supplier.
I'm rebuilding my Honda mower, new deck and other parts. Any way, the box and contents stink of smoke.

Good luck with your search.We have a Troll 540GT which we love which we hope to use for the next ten years.

When we got ours in 2016 the 540 came with the multi-function longer single beds but you could also get the 530 with shorter single beds and a slightly bigger wardrobe. Not absolutely certain that this is still the case as the diagrams of the 530 seem to show it with only a fixed bed.

The multi-function beds on the 540 are brilliant. You can use them as two narrow singles; one narrow and one wider single or put them together as a king size double. We usually keep it as a lounge area during the day with the big table but turn it into the king size for the night. It probably takes us 6-7 minutes to put the king size up with its bedding and two single duvalays.

If we are staying at a site for a number of days and taken one of our awnings we tend to put the big table in the awning to eat on and leave the bed up for a few days. If you do this check that the foldable bed legs on the slats are still out fully.

Our van will still be in winter storage mode for a few more weeks yet but when it emerges if you want to have a look inside a 540 and see how the beds work you are welcome to see ours.. We are in Clitheroe so presumably not too far from you.. If you want to have a look send me a Personal Message.
