Future front window wanted. A longshot but anyone share my experience of a distorted front window and know what to do about it?

I think that was the main problem with the "Futures". Someone will soon confirm or correct me.

I seem to remember reading or hearing that Hymer very soon decided to add several more window handles to the front window to cure the problem.

How many handles does yours have?

Ringing bells here as well Roger. Didn't they go from 5 to 7 catches/handles.

I bought new in France so I can confirm it was a spectacular cock-up, and it went back for more handles but this was an exercise in damage (disaster) limitation and of course the window subsequently 'blew up' in hot sun! Sigh..

Thanks Colin. Caravan Crazy had a reply from their supplier that the moulds and tooling had been scrapped but I will of course try your contact next week in the hope that they are not the same people. Thanks, Mike

Hi, We have a Future and the front window was upgraded to 10 catches!! If you PM me with your email address, I can send over pictures for you to see. We never open this window due to it's weight and don't want it to distort and let water in. This upgrade worked and to date we have never had any leak.

So when you wake up with a hangover, you just need to count the catches and you know if you are in the front or back bed. Great idea.

Thanks! Pinning my hopes on finding a replacement front window.

Hard to see from photo but the depth of the window is now about 200mm with cracks in both sides.
