Just popped in to say hello. Signed up a few weeks ago and have been reading through the posts. Great forum with lots of useful info.
Haven’t got an Eriba yet but are hoping to get a Triton or Troll. We want a 3 berth so we can take our granddaughter away with us.
Went to Leisure First today for a browse just to get an idea of layouts and sizes.
The hunt is now on so If anyone is selling please let us know. Hoping to get something in the next few weeks.

Current range 3 berths are 410, 418, 430, 530, 535, 540, 542, 550
It depends what sort of price range you're after as that will determine the age and therefore the layouts available, as there were many more layouts circa 20005 to 2009.
You need to identify if you want an onboard washroom 420, 430, 530, 535, 540, 542, 550.
If you want a fixed double bed 418, 430, 530, 535, 542, 550
or lounge benches that make up to a double bed 410, 418, 420, 430, 530, 535, 540, 550.
If you want single beds that longer than 4ft 7ins 410, 420, 540.

Great info, an onboard washroom is essential and would prefer not to have the fixed bed but it’s not a deal breaker.
I now have a much better idea of model numbers, thanks 😊

Hi Angelos
Andy has outlined the choices really clearly.
Just another thought, If you are not sure of exactly what you need for sleeping the multi-function beds are worth looking at, if you can see a van with them in somewhere, as you can have them as long narrow singles, wider singles or a big double/king size.
Ours are in a Troll 540 and I think you can also get them in a Triton 430 - someone will correct me if I am wrong. The front dinette can be made up as a large single for your grandchild.
The other thing for your grandchild, especially if they are older, is to get an awning for your Eriba that will take an inner or a zipped in sleeping area/tent for them to sleep in. Older children tend to find this exciting as a bit of there own space. The newer Kampa Pop Airs can be bought with a zip in pup tent that opens into the main awning.
Good luck with your search

The multi function bed comes as a package which includes a central chest which isn't available with the standard bench/bed option. The package also includes a four legged folding freestanding table, whereas the standard set up has a single leg table that clips to the van's rear wall. The beauty of the freestanding table is that it can go anywhere, even the garden, whilst the single leg job can only clip on the back of the interior or to the fitting in the outside of the van.

We had a Troll 540gt and I think from what you have said this model would suit you. It is a cracking three berth you can have two single beds at the rear and a nice little single to the front. But the rear two singles make a really large double where you could easily sleep two adults and two little un's depending on size and age of course.
Plus the layout of this model in my opinion, gives a family of three a little more inside maneuverability on a rainy day especially with no awning up. But only having this model and a Puck maybe others would say different good luck in your search Morphy (Steve)

Steve, you've got your 540 the wrong way round. The single dinette is in the nose and the lounge is at the back. The opposite of most WWB's.

We have a Triton 430 and for us, it's essential to be able to put back the big table in the day. A fixed bed would be very tricky for 3 of you if you couldn't put up an awning for any reason. Eating while travelling..... the table can easily sit 4 so it's comfy. If your grandchild wants to play games, draw, watch a cartoon etc you'll need the big table. No-one wants to be in an awning if it's cold!

It's a Troll!
Managed to find a 530GT in Scotland. Very long day collecting it but it was worth it.
Just finding our way around everything and planning our first trip away.
