To make fit on a Troll. Is this just a 3 inch cut of the rail piping each side strengthened with 2 small pieces of material and a punched hole each side to guy rope down?
Thanks

Hiya Ronnie I am also interested in the 360 we where thinking of tapering it from the awning rail to the front where the poles fix. We where thinking of sort of trying to taper the material and sort of putting an hem on?. If any one else has done or tried to do this please have you any info.
Thank you Morphy (Steve & Bev)

Update // I bailed out of the idea and bought an Isabella Loggia canopy instead.

That'll be interesting to see. 2.7metres deep and presumably 3.0metres across. Are you worried about the sag?

Imagine what the sag would be on the 3.0m deep Sun Q. Is this why we do not see them?

We’re very happy with the Loggia and there’s no sag. It’s stood up to heavy wind and rain. I was a bit concerned one night as it was very windy but we got through without having to take it down.

Looks good. I'm guessing basically a 2.7m deep Shadow with a ridge pole. How does the pole attach to the van?

What a great idea Ronnie. Certainly looks a better set up than the Isabella Shadow. It’s a bit more money, BUT with its solid centre rafter pole, peaked front and 7 guy ropes it will definitely cope with rain and wind better than the Shadow. I’m converted ! Well done on posting this for all to discover.

Isabella Logia Sun Canopy v Isabella Shadow 360

Decisions, decisions. https://www.isabella.net/uk/sun-canopies/loggia (see video)

2 metre deep x 3.6 metre long Isabella Shadow = 3 vertical poles, 3 guy ropes. Price £215
2.7 metre deep x 3 metre long Isabella Logia = 3 vertical poles, 1 roof pole, 7 Guy Ropes Price £359

You can see what you get for the additional £144. including 0.9 metre of additional shade.

The 7 guy rope idea is exactly what we have been doing with our current Shadow 300. 2 at the rear, 2 at each front corner and one at the centre where we have added an additional pole (the 300 only comes with 2 poles and 3 guy ropes whereas the 360 comes with a third pole as standard).

It sounds clear cut but although that additional 700mm of extra depth has a distinct advantage, the additional extra 600mm of length the Shadow 360 would give is also advantageous.

We are now in the market to buy a new Isabella but which is it to be?

Go for the Loggia, take lots of photos and if you do not like it I'll give you £50 for it.

Help! All existing Shadow users know that the two front poles are almost maxed out in height to achieve a working headroom for average height people but looking at the photo of the Loggia on the conventional wobbly caravan, the two front poles look to be the same as the ones on the Shadow (ie telescopic 2 piece) whereas the centre pole on the Loggia looks to be a telescopic 3 piece.

Ronnie, Does that mean that the centre front of the Loggia can be raised higher than the Eriba Awning rail height? What I'm a little concerned with is that the 2 end poles on your photo look as though they have been adjusted to set the corner roof height to be lower than they would normally be set on the Shadow?
