REDA awnings

Hi All, I’ve just discovered these awnings which I though might be of interest to some Eriba folk. They look very well made. I sent them and email last night re prices and by this morning had a reply. I like the look of the Napoli, as it has a nice raised middle detail (unlike the Shadow) which should stop any rain pooling. They make them to fit each size of Eriba too. Me like.

Alan (Cruickie) has had a Reda awning or did have one as far back as 2014. They look to be of very good quality.

Hi, I had one of these awnings for a number of years. I can't remember the year I first purchased it, but it would be around 2010, maybe just before.
I was first attracted to this awning as at the time we had a 230 L, the awning was massive. Small caravan huge awning.
We never experienced any water leaks during very heavy rainstorms in France.
Made from Ten Cate material, put together by very professional tent makers, don't compare it with a shadow, that's a sunshade, I have two.
The only disadvantage I remember is that it takes two able-bodied people to erect.
I sold mine together with the 230L and now have a Triton, with one Shadow fitted to the front and the other is attached to the rear. Find that it helps keeps the caravan nice and cool during the midday French sun.

Alan,
at last, somebody else who see the benefits of something on the other side. We've run a Caravanstore on the back for many years. It's also great for keeping the sun off bikes and 2nd fridge when it's hot or the rain off stuff when the weather is not so good. When packing away/setting up a full awning it also gives you somewhere to put stuff.

Found a nice quiet spot to erect the awning, always wise before arriving on a camp site with no idea how to attach your new awning.
