Unlike many of you lucky people already out on your adventures, our Troll hasn't left our drive yet. It has been under its cover against the front wall whilst we have had building work done. Sadly the work was delayed by all sorts of problems with getting enough scaffolding and shortages of materials.

They finally finished work and we took the Troll's winter cover off and I got inside.

Within a minute I had cracked my head on the door and blood was trickling down the back of my head. To make matters worse the only plaster Kath could find (or so she said!) was one of our grandson's children's plasters. She insisting on taking this photo to send to our children........................who thought it was hilarious

This is all made worse as I have on several threads offered advice to new members on how not to bang your head..................................

I shall have to put it down to pent up excitement overcoming my common sense.............

It reminds me of the time when we were researching Eribas and were approaching most people who owned one on various European Campsites.

We approached a very tall, bald German who was obviously renting his Eriba as it had a rental company logo on the back window. He was stooped over the front door step as we approached and I called out in my best German ( in other words very loud easy English words spoken very slowly) and asked him how he liked the Eriba.

He stood up to his full height which must have been about 6' 4" and turned to face me sporting a large plaster across his forehead. "Adequate" he replied before moving off.
