We use one of these and find them very easy to use and store.

But we have one of these as well, very handy when you cant drive onto the spot and need to move on without the car, just push the van on apply hand brake and inflate.

Hi Dave
I have never seen these "Lock & Level" devices - they look to be a great piece of kit to have with you. Any idea how sturdy and long lasting they are? I notice on the weblink it talks about placing something underneath it when using on a hardstanding.
Also wondering if they could be a solution to the problem many of us have with airbeam awnings on unlevel ground. What do you think?

Interesting that the lock n level but doesn't include a lock. It also doesn't have the rubber mat that's recommended. It also doesn't include a pump. That will explain why it's so cheap.

Looking for a pair of levelers I am amazed at how many there are and the difference? any recommendations for light & easy buying from the interweb?
Are we talking levelling ramps here, or the many other fiendish devices devised to remove additional notes from your wallet?
In truth I only ever needed a levelling ramp once in seven years of caravanning, a CL set out on an East Sussex hillside, where you had to pitch sideways to the slope. With a single axle caravan you really only need one, unlike the 'chuggers' where two are necessary. And of course they're sold in pairs
Milenco or Fiamma make soundly built ones of varying sorts from basic to ones that ring a peal of bells when you're about to pitch over the top (I made that last bit up). Ebay is a good source for used ones at about half price. I mean who needs a shiny new levelling ramp. Reuse and recycle is my motto.
I had nothing to do on this hot afternoon

We've had one for about 5 years, the longest we have had it in use at a single hit was 2 weeks in Spain on a hard standing, we do put a rubber mat under it, the only thing that went wrong was we lost the valve cap which is necessary to seal it, but even after 3 years they supplied 2 new ones free of charge or postage.

You will only need one ramp Bryn, motorhomes usually buy them in pairs. On a caravan it will only be one side that is uneven.
I have one like in the link and it will get used on a regular basis. If you notice in the link it has a small ladder attachment at the front, this is to stop you chasing it around your pitch..
