Hello we have a Troll 535GT for about 3 years now, we are very pleased with it, our tow vehicle is a Jaguar XF Sportbrake 3ltr which is a bit of an overkill for such a light caravan, thank you for accepting our application.

Welcome Thomas and nice to hear you are not lacking in towing power. I may be asking you some questions as my lovely other half thinks she likes the 535, which if/when I'm allowed to replace our 430 will be up for appraisal.

Welcome to the Forum Thomas.

I sometimes almost forget I'm towing our 540 with the 140/150 BHP Skoda 2 litre diesels I have used, you must be even more forgetful with your 3 litre Jag.......................!

Hi Colin, As we are first time Eriba users we decided to spec the unit from new so we had the fixed bed at one end and the living space at the sharp end, unfortunately what with my wife's work and Covid we have not used it much which we are now going to rectify this year with 3 trips already planned and booked, we will be happy to send photos of our rig when you are ready.
Regards

Thanks Tom. My main interest is in the electric and gas configuration. The fridge is 12v dropped down from 240v mains, but the water/space heater is gas as standard which does not seem to make sense. Did you go for the optional electrics on the heater. What attracts me to the 535 over the 530 is this heater as the standard gas space heater in the Eriba vans is really overkill, unless you caravan in sub zero temperatures. In Eriba ownership since 2003 I have only used the gas heater once and then I had to turn it off as I got to hot. It seems mad to me why Eriba do not offer the water/space heater you have in its other vans.
