Hi again FB, for us the dual fuel water heater was also essential. Yes, it's always preferable to be on electric but going without for us offers so many more trip possibilities. Most of our trips are without EHU, we don't have a TV and that for many is a huge priority. If the budget permits we would say go for it!

Hi,

Some great advice already, thanks.

I'll put our full spec in the main Eriba forum, it would be great to get some feedback whilst we can still change our minds.

Hi again FB

Thinking about it one of the extras that we got which we have used a heck of a lot is the external plug socket that is placed just to the right of the strip where you can attach the front dining table against the outside of the van.

We use it when we cook with the Ramoska, which is sometime every trip. We also use it on chilly nights to give a quick blast of heat with our little fan heater in the awning, especially if you decide to eat outside.

We don't have a TV but use a smashing little digital radio that we sometimes plug in to listen to when we are having breakfast outside of the van

The thing we couldn't make our minds up with was to get the three burner hob instead of the standard two. In the end we just went with the standard two. Now we use the Ramoska so much that we rarely use the hob at all.

We now prefer cooking outside if we can so that the inside of the van isn't full of cooking smells. When we first got it I used to cook a lot of spicy, garlic rich things like curries & chillies and the smell could linger for ages, which Kath claimed used to get in our clothing & towels.(didn't stop her eating it though)
